The Sri Lankan Society of Critical Care Nurses organised a medical symposium with a multidisciplinary faculty who discussed some of the latest updates related to Sepsis and provided a great overall idea on how to manage different types of sepsis in the health care system.

The event hosted speakers from General Medicine, Microbiology, Surgery, Gynecology, Obstetrics, Pharmacology, Critical Care and Emergency Medicine.

The participation was very encouraging and represented a wide cross section of nurses from many parts of Sri Lanka.

The event is organised under the guidance of the World Sepsis Day organisation and the event will be featured in the World Sepsis Day event calendar.
