A new member shall be proposed and seconded by two existing SSCCN members. Acceptance of the membership application shall be at the discretion of the Executive Committee in a Council Meeting.
All members enjoy special rates in all events organised by SSCCN. Members are required to provide a valid proof of membership to claim such benefits.
Four types of Membership are on offer from the SSCCN
A life member may be any Registered Nurse residing in Sri Lanka who is interested in Critical Care or Emergency Nursing. Life members enjoy voting rights.
Fee: LKR 2500 (one-time payment)
Any Registered Nurse residing outside Sri Lanka who would like to apply for membership of SSCCN.
Fee: USD 200 (one-time payment)
Any Registered Nurse residing in Sri Lanka who is interested in Critical Care Nursing. Ordinary members have voting rights only if the membership is current and active.
Fee: LKR 1000 per year
A student nurse following a diploma/ degree in a recognised institution and having an interest in critical nursing shall obtain the associate membership. Such members have no voting rights.
Fee: LKR 500 (one-time payment)
Important to note:
Annual subscriptions are payable in advance in the month of January each year. No member shall be eligible to any privileges of membership at any time that he is in arrears of payment due to the SSCCN
Following the application submitted online, the membership grant will need to be considered in the Council Meeting that follows and if approved, the applicant will be notified about the payments, and once that is done, an official email from ssccnwebeditor@gmail.com will follow with your membership details and the application number.
